Pekka Lettijeff

Pekka Lettijeff until September 1st, 2013 served as the Global Chief Supply Chain Officer at Konecranes, a manufacturer of productivity-enhancing lifting solutions as well as services for lifting equipment and machine tools of all makes. His areas of responsibility include development and execution of supply chain management including procurement across the Konecranes Group. He joined Konecranes in February 2008, as Global Chief Procurement Officer and held this position until Dec 2011. In 2012, Group sales totaled EUR 2,170 million. In this role, he was responsible for overall supply chain and logistics activities of the group with extended experience and oversaw mergers and acquisitions, turn around programs, outsourcing, supply chain management, people and leadership development, emerging markets, strategy creation and deployment. Mr. Lettijeff possesses more than 28 years of experience in supply chain and procurement experience in mechanical, telecom network infrastructure, automotive and medical industries. Mr. Lettijeff concurrently serves as a Board member at Sanitec Corporation, listed at NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, a manufacturer of bathroom ceramics, equipment and furniture and as Industrial Advisor at EQT, a leading private equity firm.

Previously, between 2007 and 2008, he served as the Head of Global Purchasing at Nokia Siemens Networks, a multinational data networking and telecommunications equipment company headquartered in Espoo, Finland. Prior to this until 2007, he was the Vice President, Networks Global Sourcing at Nokia Networks. Previously, he also served at senior management positions with AstraZeneca, a British-Swedish multinational pharmaceutical and biologics company and General Motors, an American multinational holding corporation headquartered in Detroit and a noted manufacturer of automobiles. Pekka lives in Finland today and has multiple years of experiences of working in global organsiations and privately been living in Sweden, Germany and USA. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Linnaeus University, Sweden.
